DoseRightRN ("the app", "we", "us") is a dosage-calculation practice app for nursing
students, published by SmartNurseTech. This policy explains what information the app handles,
why, and the choices you have. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name,
email, or other directly identifying personal information.
Information we handle
Anonymous device identifier. The app generates a random identifier (UUID)
the first time it runs, stores it on your device, and sends it to our server so your
practice progress, streaks, and daily usage limits stay consistent. It is not linked to your
identity and cannot, on its own, identify you.
Usage data. Quiz activity and streak/usage counts associated with the
anonymous device identifier, used to operate features such as the daily free-rounds limit.
Advertising identifiers. The app shows ads through Google AdMob. On iOS,
AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you grant the
App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, you still see ads, but
non-personalized ones.
Subscription status. If you purchase the optional Ad-Free subscription,
Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat (our subscription provider) reports your
subscription status to the app so ads can be removed. We never receive your payment-card
details.
How we use information
To operate practice features, streaks, and the daily usage limit.
To display ads (personalized only with your ATT consent; otherwise non-personalized).
To enable and restore the optional Ad-Free subscription.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The app relies on these providers, each with its own privacy policy:
Ad tracking. Manage the App Tracking Transparency permission anytime in
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Ad privacy options. Where applicable, the app's home screen shows an
"Ad Consent Options" link to review your ad-privacy choices.
Subscription. Manage or cancel the Ad-Free subscription through your Apple
ID in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
Reset. Deleting the app removes the locally stored anonymous identifier.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access or delete information associated with
your anonymous device identifier. Because we do not collect identifying personal information
and do not sell data, these requests are limited in scope. Contact us using the details below
to make a request.
Children's privacy
DoseRightRN is intended for nursing students and is not directed to children under 13. We do
not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
effective date above.
