DoseRightRN Terms of Use

Effective date: June 24, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of DoseRightRN ("the app", "we", "us"), a dosage-calculation practice app for nursing students published by SmartNurseTech. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Educational use only — not medical advice

DoseRightRN is a study and practice tool. Its questions, calculations, and rationales are for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical, clinical, or professional advice. The app is not intended for use in real patient care or for making real dosing decisions. Always follow your institution's protocols and verify calculations independently. You are solely responsible for any clinical decisions you make.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your own educational purposes, subject to these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the app.

Ad-Free subscription

The app is free to use with advertising. You may optionally purchase an auto-renewable Ad-Free subscription to remove ads:

Title: DoseRightRN Ad-Free.
Price: $2.99 (USD) per month, or the equivalent in your local currency as shown at the point of purchase.
Length: One month per billing period, automatically renewing.
Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription status is reported to the app through RevenueCat so that ads can be removed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app's content is error-free or suitable for any clinical use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartNurseTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on the app's educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
