These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of DoseRightRN ("the app", "we", "us"), a dosage-calculation practice app for nursing students published by SmartNurseTech and available on iOS and Android. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
DoseRightRN is an educational practice tool for nursing students and people preparing for the NCLEX. It is not a clinical reference and not a clinical aid. Its questions, calculations, and rationales are for practice only and are not medical, clinical, or professional advice.
DoseRightRN is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), which owns the NCLEX trademarks.
Questions are created with help from AI tools. Answers are calculated with standard dosage formulas, and drug details are checked against U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) labeling, such as DailyMed and accessdata.fda.gov. These checks reduce errors but cannot remove them. A question, answer, or rationale may still be wrong, out of date, or unclear.
You can rate a question and report a problem with it, including an optional short comment. Feedback is optional. Do not include your name, contact details, or any patient information in a comment. You give us permission to use your feedback, without payment to you, to review, fix, or remove questions and to improve the app. We may not reply to or act on every report. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle feedback.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your own educational purposes, subject to these Terms and the terms of the store you downloaded it from (the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the app.
The app is free to use with advertising. The free version includes a limited number of practice rounds per day in selected categories. You may earn additional rounds by watching optional rewarded ads. Free features and daily limits may change over time.
You may optionally purchase an auto-renewable subscription, DoseRight Pro, which provides unlimited practice rounds, access to all practice categories, and removes ads.
All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription status is reported to the app through RevenueCat so that Pro features can be unlocked.
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, circumvent usage limits, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app's content, including its questions, answers, and rationales, is accurate, complete, current, or error-free, or that it is suitable for any clinical use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartNurseTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on the app's educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version has its own effective date and its own web address, and past versions stay available below. When we make a material change, the app shows a notice that summarizes it. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
